Klavier Noir
A free piano library for Reason Combinator 2, filled with cinematic mood and immediacy.
Play with the imperfections of the tape, let the rain
drop, put the vinyl to spin and sway on the piano stool.
Requirements: Reason 12 or higher and Reason+.
We recorded and played each note of the upright piano with a single Mezzo-Forte dynamic in order to maintain its sweetness and immediacy regardless of playing style.
We implemented 26 Round Robins as Release Samples, providing a wonderful sense of organicity and can even be used as sound effects.
The sound of gentle rain, the dust of vinyl, and the pianist's alternating movements on the piano stool are there to transport us to the environment and atmosphere of a meticulously unpolished recording.
